Luzerne is a popular herb among rabbits and guinea pigs, with a firm, slightly fibrous texture and typical hay-like smell. You can give it in two ways: mixed through the hay, so the hay becomes more appealing and your pet actively forages through it, or simply offered loose as a quick extra. Both ways are fine — it mostly depends on what you and your pet enjoy most.
