This Forest mix with leaves and a variety of seeds is meant to be sprinkled and hidden. Sprinkle a small handful over the bedding and lightly mix it through. The leaves form a nice, calm top layer and the a variety of seeds and seeds disappear among them. That gets your rodent sniffing, searching, digging and foraging on its own until everything is found. This simply adds more challenge to the enclosure.
