Zooply Mouse Food is a complete food for mice. This carefully composed mix is tailored to the daily nutritional needs of mice and offers a varied menu with natural ingredients. Thanks to the combination of different flavours, textures and nutrients, this food is not only nutritious but also appealing to eat. This way you give your mouse a tasty, balanced meal every day.
Mouses are active animals that benefit from variety in their food. Zooply Mouse Food helps with a mix that fits well with their natural eating behaviour. The balance between proteins, fats and fibre makes this food suitable as a daily main food. This way you support good condition and a varied diet in a practical way.
The food contains ingredients that contribute to a tasty, complete composition. Fibre supports digestion and fits well within a mouse's daily menu. Natural ingredients such as linseed and spelt also add extra variety to the diet. Key ingredients include millet, panicum, barley, pea, carrot, parsnip, pumpkin, dried banana and a flower mix of marigold, chamomile, rose and cornflower. Fibre also supports good digestion and helps prevent dental problems, which are common in rodents. Thanks to the varied mix, the food stays interesting for your pet and fits well with its natural searching and eating behaviour.
Zooply Mouse Food is developed as a complete staple food. That means you can give it daily as a main food. Give about 25 grams per animal daily, preferably in the evening. Also always make sure there's enough fresh drinking water. For extra enrichment, you can occasionally offer a suitable treat or supplementary natural food, but the basis starts with a good, complete mouse food.
This food is available in 600 grams. This makes it easy to choose the size that suits your pet or pets. Store the food dry and cool to preserve smell, taste and quality.
Always build up the switch gradually, over about 1 to 2 weeks. First mix the new food in small amounts through the old food and increase that share a little each day, until you're fully on mouse food. This way the sensitive digestive system gets used to the change gently. Watch your pet's droppings during the first few days.
Yes, a small amount of treats or herbs is a nice addition alongside mouse food, as long as it stays an addition and not a replacement for the main food. Unlimited hay and fresh drinking water always remain the basis.
Give mouse food in a sturdy food bowl in a fixed spot in the enclosure. This way your pet always knows exactly where to find the food, and you can easily keep track of how much is eaten daily.
Either works, as long as you're consistent with a fixed time — that gives your pet a sense of calm and predictability. Many owners feed in the evening, because most rodents and rabbits are naturally most active at dusk and at night, and eat the most then.
A varied menu of hay, pellets and the occasional herb or treat provides a wider range of nutrients and keeps mealtime interesting for your pet. A one-sided diet can lead to deficiencies over time, while variety supports an active, healthy digestion and reduces the chance of selective eating.
Zooply stands for quality. We specialise in herbs and treats — precisely the areas where things most often go wrong for many pets. That's why our range is deliberately small per product group: we only offer the best option, nothing less. And we use it ourselves, every day, with our own animals.
