Do you want your hamster or gerbil to be able to dig firm tunnels? Then use a deep layer of Zooply bedding as the base and create a separate digging and foraging corner with Bark Bedding. You can also spread a layer of bark over part of the floor. That gives your pet different surfaces to explore. Scatter a few Zooply snacks or some of the regular food through the bark, and it turns into a real treasure hunt.
