Foldable T-shaped play tunnel with several passages and a ball with a bell. For running and hiding, indoors and outdoors. Read more.
Dashing in, stopping halfway for a moment and then popping out through another exit: the Duvo+ T-bone play tunnel makes the daily run a lot more exciting. The tunnel is shaped like a T and therefore has several passages. A fun ball with a bell is attached to it, which sparks extra curiosity. Running, hiding and exploring: it is all in there.
Those multiple openings are exactly what makes the T-bone so good for prey animals. A guinea pig or rabbit hiding in a tunnel does not want to feel trapped. With three sides to go in and out, your pet can always head the other way. Ferrets use the same passages to chase each other and play hide and seek.
Indoors, place the tunnel on a soft fleece blanket. That gives your pet a warm, soft surface and stops the tunnel from sliding across a smooth floor. Outdoors, put it in the run or exercise area on a dry spot. Place a handful of hay at one of the entrances or hide a treat inside, and your pet will discover the tunnel by itself. After playtime, fold it up and tidy it away easily.
The diameter is 25 cm. That suits guinea pigs, dwarf rabbits and smaller rabbits, as well as ferrets. For large rabbit breeds the tunnel is too narrow to run through comfortably. Only use the T-bone under supervision. Rabbits and ferrets may chew the material, and ferrets find small parts such as a ball very interesting. If you see your pet starting to chew, remove the tunnel.
After a good play session, your pet will head back to its own enclosure. Make sure there is a clean layer of Zooply bedding for rabbits or guinea pigs waiting, so they can rest well. Keep the tunnel dry and give it a quick shake after use. If a small hole appears over time or the ball comes loose, replace the tunnel.
Yes, we even recommend it indoors. A fleece blanket gives a soft, warm surface and stops your pet from slipping on a smooth floor. Do make sure your pet does not chew the fleece or the tunnel.
The T-shape gives the tunnel several exits. A skittish guinea pig or a rabbit can always go another way. That gives a sense of calm. Ferrets use the extra passages to run around and surprise each other.
A dwarf rabbit or smaller rabbit fits easily through the 25 cm diameter. A large rabbit breed would have to squeeze in, which is not pleasant. If in doubt, measure your rabbit at its widest point.
You can simply place the T-bone next to other tunnels or hiding places. That makes the run more varied and gives your pet more choice of where to run or hide.
Shake the tunnel out or brush off hair and hay. If you use it outdoors, let it dry properly before folding it up and putting it away. That keeps it fresh.
