Zooply strawberry leaf is a natural, dried treat for rabbits and rodents. These dried leaves are handy as an extra alongside hay and daily food. They smell nice, look great, and fit well with the natural eating behaviour of rabbits and rodents.
The leaves are light and crunchy, so you can easily give them as a small treat or as variety in the enclosure. Zooply strawberry leaf is also nice to mix through the hay. This makes eating more interesting and stimulates searching and nibbling, just as your pet does naturally. Because these are dried leaves, there's little mess and you can easily dose the amount. Always give fresh drinking water and store the product dry and cool to preserve the smell and quality.
A general guideline is 1 handful of herbs per day per animal — and that's a total across all your herbs combined, not per type. Introduce strawberry leaf gently: start with a small amount and build it up slowly. Watch your pet's droppings during the first few days — if they stay nice and firm and round, you can gradually increase the amount further.
Store strawberry leaf dry, dark and well ventilated, preferably not in plastic. Moisture is the biggest enemy of dried herbs: if moisture gets in, it can start to mould. As long as it stays dry, it keeps for a long time.
