Zooply sunflower petals are a cheerful, natural treat for rabbits and rodents. These dried flower petals have a light texture and a fine smell. They're ideal as a small extra alongside hay and daily food, and give the feed a lovely yellow look.
You can offer the sunflower petals loose, for example by hand, or sprinkle a little over the hay for extra variety. This way eating stays interesting and your pet gets something tasty without unnecessary additives. Store the petals dry and cool to preserve quality and smell. Always provide fresh drinking water.
A general guideline is 1 handful of herbs per day per animal — and that's a total across all your herbs combined, not per type. Introduce sunflower petals gently: start with a small amount and build it up slowly. Watch your pet's droppings during the first few days — if they stay nice and firm and round, you can gradually increase the amount further.
