Selective Rabbit is a complete, balanced food for active adult rabbits. It suits every breed, including dwarf rabbits. All ingredients are pressed into one nugget, so your rabbit cannot pick out the tasty bits and leave the rest. Every bite contains the same nutrients.
With 25% fibre, this is a fibre-rich food. Alfalfa provides fibre and protein, and linseed is a source of omega 3 and 6. It also contains prebiotics (MOS) and yucca extract. No sugars are added, which helps, because rabbits easily become overweight.
Nuggets are only a small part of the diet. Your rabbit's main food is unlimited fresh hay, ideally in a hay rack. Hay keeps the teeth at the right length and the digestion moving. Also offer some fresh greens every day and always provide clean drinking water. The daily amount of nuggets is stated on the bag.
Switch gradually: mix the new food into the old food over one to two weeks. If you keep two or more rabbits, the 5 or 10 kg bags are practical. Store the food dry and well closed.
This version is made for adult rabbits. For rabbits aged 4 to 20 weeks and for pregnant or nursing does there is Selective Rabbit Junior. For rabbits over 4 years old there is Selective Rabbit 4+.
