The Trixie 'Hello' feeding bowl is a cheerful 12 cm bowl for guinea pigs. Place it in the enclosure and fill it with the daily portion of pellets, some vegetables or a small treat. This version is grey, so it fits nicely with the rest of the enclosure.
Put the bowl on a flat, steady spot in the enclosure. Avoid the spot right under the water bottle or next to the corner where your guinea pig pees. That way the food stays dry and clean. Many guinea pigs also like to eat in the same place every day. It gives them a sense of calm, and you can see at a glance whether they have eaten well.
Empty the bowl every day and remove old food and any leftover fresh vegetables. Rinse it regularly with warm water and let it dry completely before you fill it again. A clean bowl prevents food from going mouldy or sour.
